Shane is the Founder and Director of Laughing Child International—a Christ-centered therapeutic adventure camp for institutionalized children living with terminal illnesses in Mexico. Its special focus is the development and implementation of effective healing camp programs for children that are HIV-positive. Located on 7 beautiful acres in the mountains of southern Mexico, they provide creative nature-based and animal-assisted therapies to no more than 12 children at a time. These children are worth the highly individualized care offered in this intimate setting. He builds meaningful relationships with each child and the leadership of their caregiving institution. Laughing Child exists to please God through the development and implementation of healing camp programs for terminally ill children.
